About Me

I'm an Art Director with a passion for developing innovative and effective marketing strategies that incorporate disruptive experiences. I have strong concepting skills, critical thinking skills, and impeccable attention to detail. I am eager to learn new things, push the limits of what has been done, and collaborate with other passionate and talented people. I'm drawn to projects that allow for the possibility of utilizing new platforms or finding new uses for existing platforms.

I am proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge, Powerpoint, Excel, and have basic working knowledge of HTML. I have worked in Basecamp, Robohead, Asana, and Jira. I am an extremely fast learner so I can pick up any new program or project management software in no time.

In my free time I enjoy finding new places to explore with my family, hiking with our dog, sailing, skiing, catching up with friends over drinks, and chipping away at my streaming & podcast queue. (Currently obsessed with: Space Force, Hamilton, Insecure, Westworld, Glass Cannon Podcast, Heavyweight Podcast, Still Processing Podcast)

Director of Digital Marketing  //  Morning Lavender

At Morning Lavender, I tooka leadership role in defining the strategy and implementation of all digital marketing programs to drive qualified traffic to owned channels, engage with, convert and retain consumers, and ultimately increase sales and brand health. This includes developing the strategy for the Shopify website, paid media, SEO, email marketing, social channels, public relations, influencer outreach, and affiliate marketing programs. I also provide art direction and copy for all marketing efforts and design assets when needed.

As a member of the Global Marketing team, I provide marketing direction into digital creative for the e-commerce site, mobile, email campaigns and digital media with the consumer in mind. I partner with global marketing, design and e-commerce to deliver a robust omni-channel experience across all campaigns. I collaborate with the content director to outline the execution of email, on-site assets, advertising and how to apply content for each campaign. I work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of all digital creative elements and consistency across each campaign.

As the lead member of the Digital Design team, I developed digital launch strategies in collaboration with e-commerce and marketing teams that enhance US and international business objectives. I managed a team of 3 web designers and art directed all partner agencies. I designed or oversaw the design of all online assets for US and international retailers and partner sites. I juggled multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines, ranging from large-scale product launches to product image resizing. I worked hard to foster a collaborative working environment by being inclusive, proactive, and forthcoming with information.

As a member of a small creative department, I am used to working collaboratively on a team within tight deadlines. I was involved in every part of the creative process, from concepting innovative social media campaigns, to designing creative assets as needed. I've created websites, widgets, video content, print collateral, and more for a broad range of clients, including Sony, T-Mobile, Lactaid, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, IBM, Rogue, Genzyme, and Bentley Systems.

Assisted with creative execution of online assets (e.g banners, website updates, newsletters, evites) for clients such as Cadillac, Hummer, TIAA-CREF, Hearts on Fire, and Stop Handgun Violence. Also designed and produced an internal handbook for use by the Broadcast Department.

2003 - 2007

As soon as I got to Wellesley, I ran for Publicity Chair for a few organizations and spent my limited spare time designing flyers, t-shirts and websites for the next 4 years. During my last semester, I knew that I wouldn't be creatively satiated if I went to law school as was always the plan, so I instead pursued my true passion: graphic design.

Animation Mentor  //  3D Character Animation
2010 - 2011

My love of animated movies and video games drove me to learn what goes into making all of the characters I love come alive. The 18-month course I took through Animation Mentor was as fun and rewarding as it was challenging.
